The oldest available wine is Château Cos D’Estournel 1928 Saint Estèphe. The newest bottle is a Romanée Conti Grand Cru 2004.
While your mouth and tongue are enjoying the exceptional meal cooked by Yannick Alleno, your eyes will be pleased by the outstanding and elegant decoration of the dining room. The designer of the dining room’s decoration was Philippe Starck, who took his inspiration from the Salon de la Paix at Château de Versailles. The room’s décor is inspired by three paintings which have been there since the first opening of Le Meurice. These paintings were dated back to 1905 and 1907 and are included into its refurbished decorations.
The room is completed with ancient mirrors, chandeliers, gilded glass door, and other remarkable material such as marble and bronze. Its ceiling is also beautifully decorated with frescoes. The whole decoration is dominated with white and silver colors which become the main theme to create such elegance and natural daylight impression even when you dine in the evening. One winning feature of this restaurant is that it has the view which will present you a scenery of the Tuileries Garden through grand windows of the restaurant.
