Les Tablettes Restaurant, Paris

Les Tablettes takes the old place belonged to Le Table and decided to turn it into something smaller, yet with a better quality. It was Jean-Louis Nomicos who had the idea of opening a new restaurant of his own after years working under Alain Ducasse and was trusted to lead some of the maestro’s restaurants like La Grande Cascade and Bois de Bologne, and Lasserre.
In Les Tablettes, Nomicos expresses himself with foods which are heavily influenced with Mediterranean style. There are many appealing Mediterranean-influenced foods appear on the menu of this restaurant which is headed by the Marseille chef. Marseille, a city which is located in the Mediterranean sea, definitely bring a strong background for Nominos’s food array.
The ravioli stuffed with pureed potato is an excellent treat in Les Tablettes while the lemon caviar is another simple feature that will make your day in an instant. The lemon caviar is made of grains of lemon pulp add the texture to the simple lemon treat. The parmesan is great and tender while the meat is flavorful in pink color.
The excellent fine menu is enhanced with a homey and sincere environment. The interior of Les Tablettes is sophisticatedly handled to create such a comfortable ambience for diners to enjoy their dining experience with their families or friends. There is a basket-weave half arcade which adds the intimacy level and velvet banquettes which enrich the visual feast of the dining room.
The service is also a champion. The restaurant staff is helpful and professional with their job. They will actively giving you the information of their best foods to help you get your maximum satisfaction with your meal.
One unique and interesting thing about the restaurant lies in the name itself. You may wonder what was inside Nomicos’s name when he chose Les Tablettes for his baby business. You will find out the reason when you visit and dine there. It apparently refers to the electronic tablet which has become one of the most important agents of today’s communication.

When a guest arrives, Les Tablettes will provide an I-pad which shows how the black truffles in that restaurant is grown and produced. Nomicos said that he would soon add another video about his asparagus producer. This way, Nomicos hopes that the diners can get a better knowledge in how the foods in Les Tablettes are produced and thus can appreciate the foods they eat in a different level.
