Macéo Restaurant Paris
Macéo Restaurant Paris

Macéo Restaurant, Paris is designed not just for ordinary diners. It is designed especially for those who have a desire for fine things. The restaurant is really spacious and emphasizes on Art Nouveau style. The first thing you will notice is the “wedding cake like” ceilings which has been such a unique and strong signature to capture people’s attention.

Elegantly decorated with natural architectural and colors, the restaurant has the privilege of having the view of the entrance to the Palais Royal. The best thing about Macéo location does not stop there. It is also connected adjacently to its sister restaurant Willi’s Wine Bar which provides diner with a large selection of antique wine bar in Paris.

Although it is purposely located next to Willi’s Wine Bar, Macéo itself also provides a unique selection of wine. One of exquisite wine that you can enjoy here is the delightful Oregon Pinot Noir by Evening Land Vineyards. The wine can be ordered in glass, which is advantageous when you want to go out with someone that has different preference in tasting wine.

This beautiful and pleasing restaurant serves the contemporary gems of French cuisine. One special sweet surprise is its vegetarian menu to accommodate those who are celebrating the healthier eating style or doing it to fulfill their spiritual needs. This special menu is somehow delighting to find in the heart the city which loves to eat meat.

The special color in Macéo’s menu may have something to do with the arrival of Maître Park in Macéo. Park is a professional chef from Korea which brings new different element to Macéo’s meals. He introduced the fifth element which is the taste that is not sweet or sour, but also bitter and salty which so far has impressed many diners in Macéo.

Some of Park’s best foods are lobster bisque, which is a dish of cooked lobster presented with ravioli and bathed in a sauce. There is also Carre d’Angeau, a lamb dish with lotus mille-fauille. The lamb in this food is really tender and rich in flavor, thanks to Park’s Asian background. The desert would be the roast figs with candied dates which makes you want to stay longer.

Some famous world figures had been intrigued by the famous name of Macéo Restaurant and managed to visit it in their tight schedule. Some respected figures such Eisenhower and Colette paid their visit and commented that Macéo is a melting-pot which provokes surprise encounters and leaves pleasant memories of Paris.
