Alcôve & Agapes Bed and Breakfast is not your ordinary hotel or hostel. This bed and breakfast is uniquely attributed for travelers who want to experience the real Parisian house and living. Founded firstly by Françoise Foret in 1992, Alcôve & Agapes Bed and Breakfast is inspired from a spirit of friendship and sharing she discovered after her trip to Ireland.
Started small from her own Foret’s own apartment, Alcove & Agapes Bed and Breakfast is now a home stay business with numerous rooms available. All of the accommodation are located in Paris and always have metro, bus, or train station nearby.
Alcove & Agapes Rooms available and their prices:
- Houssmannien style apartments
- Individual houses with gardens
- Ancient studios of artists
The prices are varied between 70 € to 145€, taxes included. No minimum stay and no extra fees.
Until today, Foret is still the one who organizes her beloved bed and breakfast with the assistance of hosts and hostesses aged between 25 to 70 years. Most of the hosts and hostesses, up to 85%, can speak English while some of them can communicate in Spanish, Italian, or German. They are also mostly singles or couples without children.
Foret is committed to serve quality to her guests. Therefore, every host or hostess can only have one guest to attend to. This is to makes sure that the paying guest will be received as a welcomed friend and not only a stranger who rents the additional room.
